Person Master Sheet
A centralised, role-driven dataset powering access, visibility, and workflows across the platform.
The Person Master Sheet is the foundation of the Fesutibaru system. It holds a single source of truth for everyone involved in the Festival—from artists and technicians to staff and volunteers.
This sheet is linked directly to the user authentication system, so access and visibility are driven by roles set at the person level. Each person’s role determines which views they can access and what they’re permitted to do.
Roles are essential: they not only define access but drive workflows across the system. For example, an Artist role might see a simple, read-only view of their itinerary, while a Stage Manager has the ability to view allocations and logistics.
The spreadsheet view provides familiar features like sorting, filtering, and inline editing—mimicking the power of Excel while keeping your data safe and version-controlled.
Clicking on a row opens a Detail View—used consistently across all relevant views. This single, centralised detail page displays comprehensive information and is used to inspect or update records across the system.
To add a new person, use the Create View—a form that collects essential fields: First Name, Last Name, Email, and Role. Without these, access and role-based logic won’t apply.
