Festival Cycles & Clean Slates

Plan across years without starting from scratch.
Fesutibaru separates the timeless from the time-bound.

Festivals are cyclical, but not everything resets each year. With Fesutibaru, we’ve built a system that understands the difference between enduring data—like author profiles, publisher relationships, and book metadata—and time-specific data, like event schedules, accommodation bookings, and travel logistics.

This separation means you never have to re-import static content. Your author list remains intact. Your media uploads persist. Your carefully structured datasets don’t vanish after the closing night. At the same time, you get a clean working environment to build each new festival year: fresh events, new timetables, updated commitments.

When you create a new festival instance in Planner, it clones only the relevant structural elements and links them to the data that should carry over. That means fewer repeated tasks, less accidental overwriting, and much clearer boundaries between what’s current and what’s archival.

You’re also free to update your enduring data throughout the year—no need to wait for “festival season” to make a change. Updates to an author’s bio, corrections to a book title, or new contact info are all live and ready for the next programme.

We’ve built this with real festival workflows in mind: consistent enough to feel familiar, flexible enough to meet the future.
