Author Uploads
Author Uploads are integrated directly into the event detail view,
allowing participants to provide media in context, without navigating away.
This component is used within the event detail screen to allow authors and participants to upload their presentation files, images, or audio clips specific to that event.
Rather than providing a full standalone view, this acts as an input module tied to the event’s ID and the associated media record in the database.
Each upload includes metadata such as media type, notes, and automated links to the event record. This simplifies the author-facing process by pre-filtering and simplifying the interface.
The system supports version control, unique media tagging, and type-based display filters on the admin side.
Uploaded content here is visible in the event’s “Resources” tab and available to both admin and technical staff preparing for live execution.
